Whistler is a town in British Columbia. It is located in the northwestern corner of the province, and it's known for its resort activities. It is often considered to be one of Canada's top tourist destinations.

Whistler has several things that make it a great place for tourists to explore and enjoy. One thing that I found interesting was the phenomenon of everything being on sale around the time school started back up after winter break, which starts in mid-September each year.

[1] Blackcomb

Blackcomb is North America's largest ski resort. It was designed for the use of skiers and snowboarders. It is located in the centre of Whistler with a variety of backcountry trails. You are sure to get a stunning view of the surrounding valley from its summit. 

[2] Peak 2 Peak Gondola

It is a gondola ride that takes you from Whistler Village to Blackcomb in just 12 minutes. There are two stations located at the top of Lions Gate Bridge and Whistler Mountain. 

The gondola travels at an altitude of 536 meters above sea level. The trip lasts for 1.3 km with an elevation gain of 731 meters, giving the gondola one of the highest elevation gains in North America.

[3] Brandywine Falls Provincial Park 

It is a series of waterfalls that flow into Green Lake. There are two viewing platforms near the top of the falls, and the lower viewing platform is right before the waterfall itself. The two viewing platforms are connected by an indoor viewing tunnel, which is perfect when it rains.
